Make a dreamy baby girl quilt with the Blush Ballet ballerina baby quilt panel — a watercolor ballerina with florals, butterflies and striped borders in blush pink, cream and muted sage.

This listing is the printed panel only: one yard of fabric. Batting, backing and binding are not included. Coordinating fabrics for backing and binding are sold separately in our shop; batting is available at any quilt or craft store.

It's a pre-printed wholecloth quilt top, also called a cheater quilt, printed on one continuous yard. Layer it with batting and backing, quilt and bind — no cutting or piecing.

Quick answers

What size quilt does it make? About 36 × 42 in as is, a crib or baby quilt. Add 4 in borders for about 44 × 50 in.

Do I need to piece it? No. The ballerina, borders and layout are printed, so it's an easy first quilt.

What goes with it? Blush, cream or sage solids from your stash make lovely borders, binding and backing.

Prewash before cutting, especially if you’re mixing it with other fabrics. Expect about 2–3% shrinkage in length and 4–5% in width.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. No bleach.

Tumble dry low or line dry.

Iron on the cotton setting, on the reverse side.

For a finished quilt, add a color catcher to the first wash.
