I am Natalia, a surface pattern designer based in Charleston, South Carolina. Every print in this shop is designed in my studio with one goal in mind: to help you finish more quilts, with more joy and a lot less fuss.
WM Fabrics is rooted in love for beautiful pattern and the process of piecing and quilting. However, a simple observation sparked the idea for our superstar products - many quilters have far more ideas than they have hours. The fabric pull, the cutting, the careful piecing, the search for a binding that actually matches... So many beautiful projects stall long before the last stitch. So I started designing more and more fabric that does some of that work for you. I create coordinated designs that can be mixed and matched with ease to get you to a beautiful finished quilt.
What we make
- No-piecing quilt panels are complete quilt tops printed on one yard, 36 × 42 in, ready to layer, quilt and bind. Coordinating fabrics offer the opportunity to make larger finished quilts by adding borders or creating your own additional blocks.
- Cheater quilt fabric features a faux patchwork layout of blocks. It reads like a pieced quilt once it is quilted.
- Cut-apart block panels center a fussy-cut motif in each square, ready for samplers, appliqué and pillows.
- Coordinating fabrics are simple repeats and solids designed alongside each panel, so borders, binding and backing match from the start.
- Quilt kits bring together the panel, borders, binding, backing and an illustrated guide in one order.
Printed just for you
Every yard is printed to order on 100% cotton quilting fabric and ships in 5–7 business days. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting, which is how I can offer each design in several block sizes and keep new collections coming throughout the year.
