I'm so glad you are here!
I am Natalia, the designer behind WM Fabrics, and this little corner of the internet exists for one reason: to make quilting easier and faster, so more of your time goes towards finished quilts on beds, couches, cribs and strollers.
My "why" for this brand
Ask any quilter about their unfinished projects and you will usually get a laugh and a number... The love is never the problem. Time is. A traditional baby quilt can mean a trip to your LQS (local quilt shop) or endless online searching for that perfect fabric pull, an evening or two of cutting, several evenings of piecing and a weekend of pressing seams and squaring the blocks before the quilting ever begins. Life fills those evenings so quickly.
After hearing from many of my Angel Quilters - the amazing ladies who sew charity quilts for hospitals - I wanted to design more fabric that takes some of those tedious steps off your plate, while keeping the part most of us love best: getting a beautiful quilt top and quilting the sandwich - you're 95% done! All that's left is binding, and you have a beautiful piece meant to be used and loved.
How WM Fabrics makes quilting easier
No-piecing quilt panels
Each panel is a complete quilt top printed on one yard of quilting cotton, 36 × 42 inches, perfect for a baby quilt. The featured image or block layout is already designed and printed as wholecloth. Layer it with batting and backing, quilt the sandwich, and bind. A finished baby quilt from a panel is a realistic weekend project, even for a first-time quilter. And if a bigger size is needed, you can always extend the quilt top by adding borders or building additional blocks - totally your choice!
Cheater quilt fabric in your choice of block size
Cheater quilt fabric, also called wholecloth or faux patchwork, prints the look of a pieced quilt across continuous yardage. Many of my designs come in more than one block size - bold 6-inch blocks or 3-inch blocks for a classic patchwork feel. Order two yards and the pattern simply keeps going, for a quilt about 42 × 72 in.
Cut-apart block panels
For quilters who love fussy cutting but not the hunt for the perfect motif, cut-apart panels center each motif - songbird, butterfly, cardinal or baby dinosaur - in its own square. Cut on the printed lines and your blocks are ready for a sampler, a star block center, appliqué or a quick pillow.
Coordinates designed together
Matching fabrics are where so many projects stall. For my panel collections, I design the coordinating dots, stripes, florals and solids at the same time as the panel, so the colors truly belong together. Choose one for the binding, another for the backing, and you are done shopping.

Complete Quilt kits with an illustrated guide
When you would rather not make a single decision, a kit gathers everything for the quilt top and finishing — panel, borders, binding, backing and an illustrated quilt guide with cutting layouts and assembly steps. The Meadow Fawn Baby Quilt Kit is our very first kit, with more on the way.
Made for your stash, too
Not every quilter needs coordinates, and that is perfectly fine. Many of you have a stash of solids and blenders you love, and a single panel is all it takes to pull them into a finished quilt. Every panel in the shop is sold on its own, and each listing suggests colors from your stash that pair beautifully with it.
What printed to order means for you
Every yard is printed just for you on 100% cotton quilting fabric, 4.3 oz per square yard, with a 42 in printed width. White selvage margins are added beyond the printed area, so the full design is always yours to use. Orders ship in 5–7 business days. For holiday gifts, ordering a little early makes the season far more relaxing.
Who I am designing for
Grandmothers making a first quilt for a new baby. Beginners who want a win on their very first try. Experienced quilters who want a lovely shower gift finished by Saturday. Bird lovers, dinosaur fans, ballet dreamers and anyone who believes a handmade quilt says something a store-bought blanket never can. If you love to quilt, or would love to start, you belong here!
